The Delightful Chaos of Mistila and the Motlies promises merriment at the Toronto Fringe
This summer, Down and Dirty Theatre Company will bring its show The Delightful Chaos of Mistila and the Motlies to the Toronto Fringe Festival.
The show, billed as “a magical journey with six misfits on a madcap quest to find a cure for world-weariness,” runs at the Theatre Passe Muraille Mainspace from July 4 – 13.
Written and directed by retired drama teacher Jan Kish, The Delightful Chaos of Mistila and the Motlies brings together Kish’s former students and colleagues for an intergenerational project that, per a press release from Down and Dirty Theatre Company, “incorporates the audience into its mischief and playfulness.”
The Delightful Chaos of Mistila and the Motlies features performances from Kat Letwin, Teodoro Dragonieri, Christine Moynihan, Justine Christensen, Leonardo Dragonieri, and Charles Hayter.
More than half the members of Down and Dirty Theatre Company, part of the Toronto Fringe’s seniors category, are over 60 years old.
