Brenda Kamino

Brenda is a 40-year theatre artist: an actor, producer, writer, director, and teacher who has been seen on major stages across Canada including such theatres as The Shaw Festival, fu-Gen, Theatre Passe Muraille and Alberta Theatre Projects. She is an activist in support of non–mainstream performers (receiving CAEA’s Larry McCance Award and in 2021, ACTRA’s Lifetime Membership honour). Currently, with award-winning playwright, Andrew Moodie, co-pilots RENAISSANCE THEATRE, revisiting and reviving the gems of the Canadian theatrical canon.
