Marissa Orjalo is an interdisciplinary Filipina-Canadian actor, playwright, composer, artist educator, and academic. She recently completed her M.A. with the University of Toronto's Centre for Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies with a thesis dedicated to investigating intergenerational methods of creation among Filipinx Canadian theatre makers. Her work as an artist has been supported by fu-GEN, Factory, Carlos Bulosan, Nightwood, Pleiades, and Cahoots. An avid reader, Marissa is currently reading Min Jin Lee's "Pachinko" and E.J.R.
