Nassim Abu Sarari, a Palestinian-born and raised individual, is a versatile creative actively involved in writing, translation, research, and theatre. Currently a graduate student in the Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies program at York University, Nassim continuously transitions between the roles of researcher, theatre practitioner, performance artist, and DJ, with an interest in the many faces of 'Black' global culture, particularly in SWANA and East Africa. Nassim is a member of the 2023 cohort of the IBPOC Critics Lab, supported by Intermission Magazine and the Stratford Festival.
