Sarah Segal-Lazar is an award-winning playwright, director, producer, songwriter, and actor. She holds an Honors BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and is the Founding Festival Director of the Island Fringe Festival on PEI. She is the creator of the immersive hits Talk Mackerel, In Memoriam, and Don’t Read the Comments—which won the Segal Centre for Performing Arts 2018 award and was remounted five times, including at the Centaur Theatre’s 2020 Wildside Festival. Sarah was recently selected for funding for her first film, Elvira, which shoots this spring.
